Good to know

I love creating interesting spaces. This comfortable back yard retreat was previously a utility shed in it's former life. I raised the ceiling up to the roof to give the room a vertical, open feeling. Raw industrial materials like metal and plywood were used for the fixtures, floor and furniture. The space was influenced by modern design and inspired by the blue city in Morocco, Chefchaouen. I hope you will find the Best Tiny House in Town to be a serene resting place in the heart of the city.

Other Details to Note

The driveway is reserved for the renter in the main house. There is free street parking.

House Rules

Street parking only. Back yard is semi private and is shared with big house. Quiet hours 10pm-7am (inside and on the patio). Please, as a courtesy to those in the main residence and the neighbors, keep noise at or below the level of a normal calm conversation. Firearms or weapons of any kind are prohibited on this property regardless of open-carry or concealed-carry permits.

The tiny house was a great experience! The house was located in such a charming neighborhood that was very walkable. We did not have a car and had plenty to do by foot, only ubering when going to a concert. The hosts were very responsive and provided wonderful recommendations which we took full advantage of. Would highly recommend, and will stay again if back in the area!

Exact change is required). Bikeshare - Rent a bike (electric assist or manual) for $6/day and explore the city and the greenways! The closest Bikeshare station to pick up a bike is at 701 N. Person St...just .3 miles away and a quick 7 miutes walk! Lime, Bolt, and Spin electric scooters are available for rent all over downtown. They are a super fun way to explore Raleigh.
